🔸Research proposal structure

写research proposal之前你需要先问自己以下3个问题（其实你可以理解为research proposal全文就是为了回答一下几个问题）：

• what you are doing

• why it is important

• that you are competent to do it

用简明扼要的短语回答问题: What is your research about?

🔸Abstract

注意abstract不是intro不是单讲背景，而是要让读者看过你的abstract就能知道你的topic, aims of your study，who will be involved in the research，the methods and the timeframe.概括解释为什么这研究是必要的。

时态：将来时，因为你写的是你即将要研究什么。

🔸Introduction and/or background  proposal结构代写

大部分的proposal会把background放到introduction里面写，也有少部分background比较复杂的proposal是分开写的。以下是这一段应该包含的内容：

• what prompted your interest in the topic

• relevance to previous research（literature）

• what your research will contribute to the broader research and the field

🔸Research question

Research question在proposal里面是最核心的部分，因为你需要回答什么研究问题直接决定了你未来留学论文的价值。Research question的选定可以是回答了之后就能填补research gap的问题。

🔸Literature review  proposal结构代写

这一段是最能体现你做了多少工作的一段，需要涵盖的内容如下：

1.  highlight trends in the literature relating to your research topic: including research areas, methodology, theoretical approaches and findings

2. limitations and/or gaps in the literature

3. The literature review helps inform and set up your theoretical framework, methodology and research design.（很多学生的毕业论文被扣分
都是因为methodology,findings的部分没有回扣 literature review,两个部分自说自话就会被扣分）

🔸Theoretical framework

之前literature已经讲过了不同的theoretical framework，现在要讲清楚哪一种theoretical framework适合你留学论文的研究。

🔸Methodology  proposal结构代写

methodology (the why of how you will gather your data)+ the method or research design (the how).这一部分需要回扣literature review里面methodology

Research design and method

• Participants:谁是你的研究对象(individuals, businesses, organisations? What is your
  sample size and its parameters?)
• Data collection: 你怎么采集数据(surveys， experiments, interviews)? This should also include any equipment or instruments that you will need.
• Data analysis and discussion: 你要如何分析用什么model来分析这些data
• Limitations:找到你研究的limitation并且可以说你如何最小化这个limitation.

你需要考虑以下内容

1.The rights of those being researched(including informed consent)
2.Your responsibility
3.How thedata will be collected, stored and disposed of.

Significance of Research

这段可以单独成段也可以写在introduction里面。主要是写你的研究对未来学术研究发展的价值，和对实际研究应用的意义。

Timeline

你是fulltime还是parttime，时间规划是怎么样的，建议大家可以做一个甘特图会比较清晰。

Budget

如果你要申请funding的话budget是必须要写的，不然的话其实这段可以没有。
