Course Description 毕业论文选题代写
This subject aims to provide an opportunity for students to put their accumulated intended learning outcomes in core and elective subjects in the prior seven semesters to solve a research problem under the guidance of an academic. The student is expected to be able to analyse the given problem, conduct relevant literature survey to critically evaluate what had been done concerning the solution of the problem, to design and implement a solution to the problem, to write a professional and technical report on the solution of the problem, and to orally defend and demonstrate the solution in front of an audience.
PROGRAM LEVEL OUTCOME
Upon successful completion of the program students will have:
1. Communication skills (oral, written)
2. Global outlook (international outlook)
3. Ethical issues (understanding the responsibilities of being a professional practitioner)
4. Critical thinking and reasoning
5. Technical knowledge and problem solving
6. Teamwork and leadership
INTENDED LEARNING OUTCOMES 毕业论文选题代写
Upon successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:
1. Ability to conduct a literature survey on the selected problem
2. Ability to appreciate the relevant literature in association with solving the problem
3. Ability to define the research problem
4. Ability to generate a solution or solutions to solve the problem
5. Ability to formulate and analyse various alternative solutions
6. Design and implement a chosen solution
These intended outcomes will be exhibit in the following measurable outcomes: 毕业论文选题代写
1. Literature survey
2. Proposal writing
3. Regular meeting with supervisor
4. Project execution
5. Final report writing
6. Oral presentation
Weekly Schedule
Students are expected to spend at least 35 hours per week on the project. The minimum expected total number of hours spent on the subject will be 500 hours. Students are expected to meet with their supervisor every week to report on what had been done in the past week, and to provide plan for what the student wish to do and achieve in the coming week. Students are expected to write weekly journals of what they did during the week which may be examined by the supervisor.

TEACHING AND LEARNING APPROACH 毕业论文选题代写
The teaching and learning approach of this subject is to help students in being able to utilise what they have learned in the prior seven semesters to study a given research problem, to analyse what had been studied previously, to provide alternative solutions, to select one of the alternative solutions, to design and implement the chosen solution, to demonstrate the chosen solution to an audience. Students are expected to play an active and significant role in the discussion for developing a framework for analyzing the significance and implications of various solutions with the supervisor, and to implement the chosen solution.
Bo regular class is scheduled, but students are advised to meet with their respective supervisors on a weekly basis, preferably not less than 30 minutes each, to report on what had been accomplished in the previous week, and to indicate what might be planned and to be achieved for the coming week.
Students are expected to write a weekly journal on what they had done in the previous week,
which might consist of literature that they had consulted, a summary of any articles that they had read, to analyse solutions which might have been considered by others in the literature, to formulate alternative solution(s) for the chosen problem, the design towards solving the problem using one of the chosen alternative solutions, the implementation details of the design, the parameters used in any experiments conducted on the chosen solution, and the record of results obtained. Students might be expected to show such weekly journals to the supervisor, if and when requested. 毕业论文选题代写
A mid term report is expected to be submitted to the supervisor in the seventh week. This mid term report should show (a) literature survey conducted on the chosen research problem, (b) analysis of some of the solutions offered in the literature on the solution of the chosen problem, (c) some alternative solution(s) to the chosen problem, (d) selection of a considered alternative solution, (e) preliminary design of the chosen solution for solving the chosen problem, and (f) some preliminary results if available.
Depednent on the quality of the mid term report, selected students might be asked to present what they have done to an audience consisting of fellow students, and academics. 毕业论文选题代写
The student is expected to give an oral presentation on what they have done in this subject to be arranged by the Faculty, during the thirteenth week in front of an audience consisting of a panel with three academics, including the supervisor, and fellow students. Students are expected to engage in a question and answer session after the oral presentation with the audience to clarify some details in the project, or to provide further elaboration of the project.
