3、‘For Friedman inflation is always and everywhere a monetary phenomenon’. Critically discuss this statement drawing on the exogenous and endogenous money theories.

4、In 1986 Layard and Nickell introduced the concept of NAIRU as a New Keynesian response to the natural rate of employment (NRU) devised by Friedman. Discuss the NAIRU model, using relevant formulas and diagrams, and its policy implications.
5、Present and discuss the New Neoclassical Synthesis, focusing on the so called three-equation model. Illustrate your answer with the relevant equations and diagrams.
6、The so-called Stock-Flow Consistent (SFC) models can be regarded as a reappraisal of old-fashioned structural macroeconometric models. Critically examine the key features of these models, stressing pros and cons relative to other modelling approaches.
